SETAC (System Engineering and Technical
Assistance Contract) is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Task Order contract
using Fixed-Price Labor Categories. The purpose of the contract is to procure systems engineering and technical
assistance to the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/U.S. Army Forces Strategic Command (USSMDC/ARSTRAT).
Users include the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space
(PEO-MS), the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense Joint Project Office (GMD JPO) and other related US, air, space and missile defense
organizations.
SMDC/ARSTRAT manages the Army's
research and development effort, advances the technologies of ballistic missile defense, air and space technology, and provides
a system technology base for a range of future defense applications.
