Knowledge Vortex, Inc. obtained certification
as a “Disadvantaged Business Enterprise” (DBE) on October 13, 2010 through the DBE program administered
by Alabama Department of Transportation. To receive DBE certification, small businesses must be owned and controlled by socially
and economically disadvantaged minorities and/or women. This program affords certified businesses access
to training, networking opportunities with other DBEs and prime contractors awarded federally funded transportation projects
(highway, airport, transit) throughout the state.
