Salesforce Developer

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess and maintain current Salesforce Certifications (Certified Salesforce Developer / Platform Developer I)
  • Hands on experience writing Apex code, classes, and triggers to satisfy complex business logic
  • Experience developing Visual Force pages and workflows/approval rules using custom code
  • Experience with Lightening and Communities
  • Experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, capturing client requirements and feedback
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to team success and to developing team’s Agile skills
  • Experience with Salesforce API
  • Experience developing workflows for automated routing

Desired Skills:

  • Software development skills with Java, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic
  • Experience creating and running queries within at least one database environment (SOQL/SOSL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • An understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including recent successful and demonstrated experience with Agile Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly with clients/managers/end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements for Salesforce instances
  • Responsible for designing solutions, integrations, extensions, and features using Salesforce.com and force.com (API, APEX & Visual Force)
  • Work closely with Agile Team to code, troubleshoot and debug
  • Perform support and development activities for Salesforce applications and projects
  • Support change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and update existing applications
  • Support change control best practices, including the management of user requests/approvals and promote changes to production
  • Develop solution prototypes in an iterative manner
  • Ensure new and updated software meet both the business acceptance criteria and Salesforce implementation best practices
  • Provide system administration support of Salesforce environment including customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, user permissions, sharing rules, custom applications, custom objects and workflow, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, dashboards, reports, etc.
